It’s been a year since our Page at Facebook has been created. Time passes by quickly. I was super pregnant, 37 weeks along. Bernardo was ready to be born at any moment, but he chose to wait another twenty days.

And there are so many things that have changed since then, just as expected. I have lived new experiences and my relationship with the city is no longer the same, as we now have a little one as our ‘plus one’ in our daily displacements and permanencies.

Time flies. Our Facebook page has gathered 480 likes. People who are interested in debating a better city, in celebrating whatever good things it brings us. Our Instagram account has now almost 450 followers, a completely diverse public if compared to those from Facebook. And the website came out slowly. First in a beta version, as a tryout, and finally in its idealized version, ready to receive all the content I have been saving for such a long time and anxiously wish to do so. With a map and everything!

A very special year to be missed. Priorities revisited, poorly slept nights, caught by surprise by colds and viruses – the life of those who have a baby. An enormous and continuous learning process and an even greater love. Things that have taken longer than I would have imagined, projects which had to wait a little longer and pop into my mind during those nights when I am awake.  

The blog? I hope that now, with the site finished, I will have more time to dedicate myself to the texts that flap into my head. And that, next year, we can celebrate shared ideas and good projects executed in the urban fabric. A happy new year to all of us!
